Great family run hotel in the Bavarian Alps. Great breakfast and the host and staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!

Restaurant & cuisine – The dining room delivered outstanding food, excellent table service, and mountain views that made every meal memorable. Hospitality – Staff throughout the hotel—from check‑in to housekeeping—exceeded every expectation. Breakfast experience – A wide and tasty buffet, prompt service, with hot dishes prepared on request made for an energizing start to each day. Ideal for short stopovers – I originally planned this as a two‑night rest to avoid a long drive after a flight. While I didn’t have time for the spa, its generally praised 1,000 m² wellness area shows just how full a longer stay could be. Impeccable cleanliness – I hold very high standards for hygiene; the room and public areas surpassed them entirely.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains.

Farchant is an ideal staring point for hiking and skiing, with several skilifts within 9 km. Zugspitze (mountain) is 15 kilometers away and Eibsee (lake) is 15 kilometers away. Warm welcome, well heated clean, spacious and comfortable room, good bed and extremely good breakfast including great coffee and fruit. Spacious parking for a big car.

It has panorama garden with a view of the Zugspitze mountain peak and is located just few minutes' walk from the centre of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We had a wonderful stay, especially as a family! The hotel offers fantastic options for everyone — the pool, gym, sauna, mini golf, and theater kept us entertained, and the three included meals each day were delicious, with fresh natural juices in the morning being a highlight. The location is also perfect, close to the top attractions in the city, making it easy to explore. Most of all, the incredible staff made our stay feel extra special. We’re already planning our next vacation to return here in the winter — can’t wait! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

Mornings at the Hotel Antonia start with a freshly prepared breakfast in the breakfast room. Very nice hotel! Top location. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The apartment was very clean.

Sightseeing tours are available within a reachable distance of the property. If you would like to discover the area, skiing, cycling and hiking are possible in the surroundings and the apartment can arrange a ski equipment rental service. Everything super nice. Friendly host, excellent apartment and even a beer in the fridge upon arrival, what more to ask for. All thumbs up!
