Set in Interlaken, 19 km from Grindelwald Terminal, Chalet Hostel @ Backpackers Villa Interlaken offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property is 80 metres from the city centre and 21 km from Giessbachfälle. The best hostel so far i stayed. Its super clean and very friendly well behaved staff. Its in my favorite list for my future stays.

The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. It also features a unique spa area in the goats' stable. The property faces Eiger (mountain/glacier) and having breakfast facing this every morning while the FIRST gondolas pass by and paragliders land on the field next to the hotel is pure Swiss magic. The location bypasses the town buzzing with tourists as it sits 100 meters in elevation above the town- avoiding the congestion of a popular destination. It does however have a walking path into town but, coming back up could be challenging if you’re tired. By the way, we did enjoy the pavlova dessert at the hotel restaurant!

Built in the 1890s, this historic hotel was one of the first hotels in Lauterbrunnen. The family-run Hotel Staubbach offers panoramic views of the Staubbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. It is located 600 metres from the Lauterbrunnen station and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi.

The Jungfrau Ski region includes the resorts of Mürren Schilthorn, Wengen, Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen and Grindelwald First. It offers 213 km of well-groomed ski slopes. Wow what a location! Thank you to Adam, Tristan, Maria & the whole Hotel Staubbach team who went above & beyond for us during our short stay in Lauterbrunnen. Everything was great. We could not fault this place. They take care of their guests & gave us guidance of where to eat & what to do whilst we were there. We had to check out early & they had taken the time to make us sandwiches & snacks since we would miss the breakfast service the following morning. Guests can enjoy a complimentary rich buffet breakfast every morning. The in-house restaurant, "The Deck," serves cheese fondue and a few other traditional Swiss dishes. In good weather, meals can be enjoyed on the terrace, which offers a wonderful mountain view. Free coffee and tea are available in the lobby 24/7. Breakfast is wonderful. Comfy bed, beautiful view. The family-run Hotel Alpina right in the heart of the car-free resort of Mürren offers you a unique location and spectacular views over the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains.

The Silberhorn Hotel in Lauterbrunnen is situated off the main street, only 150 metres from the train station, providing access to the skiing and hiking areas. Free parking and free Wi-Fi is available. This is a wonderful hotel for a family stay!

Hirschen is situated in a 17th century landmark building located in Interlaken. This hotel features a garden and free WiFi throughout the property.

All rooms feature air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, radio and a desk. All rooms have a private bathroom. The garden terrace provides a splendid view of the famed Mount Virgin. The property was lovely, quintessentially Swiss and yet modern facilities. Rooms had plenty of space and were so comfortable. We loved the property. Staff were so obliging and helpful. More than happy help with luggage up and down the stairs as there was no elevator due to age of building, The breakfast was delicious and we also dined in the restaurant one evening and it was delicious and very reasonable. Rooms were air conditioned and having access to washing machine, drier and iron for a few francs was great. Location very handy…. Bus stop right outside. I would highly recommend Hotel Hirschen.
