If you’re not hurry, I’d recommend you to take a walk from the hostel to train stations (west, ost) because the town is so nice. People in town and staffs are nice and always smile. The hostel is very deeply clean, the breakfast is pretty good and easy also there is the coffee machines, there is the laundry machine to use and the price is CHF 10.- by coin or token (Ask at reception and you can pay by card with them) but free for dryer machine. If you have to do an early checkout, let them know the day before and they will give you a token for the coffee machine with paper cup and a bread). Highly recommended for everyone (family, group, solo traveler)

They have (paid) underground parking which makes traveling by car much easier. I was there in summer but it is also the perfect location for your winter ski adventure in Flims - the ski lifts are accessible from the same building complex.

Skiing and cycling can be enjoyed nearby, while a ski pass sales point and ski storage space are also available on-site. We had great experience with the host, the place was very cosy and comfortable, the location was quite easy to reach. The breakfast served was full of options. We really enjoyed our stay there, though quite short, would love to come back again one day!

All rooms have a balcony, seating area with cable TV and a private bathroom. Some have unobstructed views of Winkelmatten. Several have views of Mount Matterhorn. All are rustically furnished. Several have a wood-paneled ceiling and solid wood ceiling beams. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. I was our first time to Zermatt and the place lived up beyond our expectations. Lovely stay in the hotel. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and on top of that, friendly staffs. View of Matterhorn from our room is just jaw dropping.

The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. It also features a unique spa area in the goats' stable. The hotel is seconds from the ski area. Literally right out the front door. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was very family friendly. View from our room was what we envisioned from a Swiss chalet. Bus service from hotel to downtown Grindelwald comes 4x times an hours and only minutes away. Will definitely go again.
