Mountain Paradise in Zermatt has a sauna and a steam room. Quiet surroundings and views of the Matterhorn Mountain can be enjoyed at the property which is located in the Winkelmatten suburb. Do not understand the 3 star rating at all because this is an amazing resort in an amazing location. The view from our room was the Matterhorn which was spectacular to look at everyday. Breakfast was great too. More continental though. Enough to sustain us for morning activities. The staff was absolutely pleasant and polite. Very helpful and polite. Will definitely stay here again.

Situated close to the ski lifts in Zermatt, Alpen Resort & Spa features a restaurant, and spacious rooms with cable TV. The entire property was amazing! We had a 4th floor suite with a balcony with an incredible view of The Matterhorn. The beds were extremely comfortable. The spa was awesome and included in the rate. The mini bar was nice as was the complimentary water provided. The hotel also provided robes, slippers and a spa bag for your convenience and comfort while enjoying the spa facilities. The staff were great and very friendly. We loved the included breakfast which was a fantastic selection. The smokers lounge was a nice touch and they have a small but great selection of cigars.
