This centrally located hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Berchtesgaden Train Station. Each room has a balcony offering stunning views of the surrounding Berchtesgaden Alps. great location, fantastic views from the hotel, breakfast was great, rooms very comfortable, staff very helpful

Restaurant & cuisine – The dining room delivered outstanding food, excellent table service, and mountain views that made every meal memorable. Hospitality – Staff throughout the hotel—from check‑in to housekeeping—exceeded every expectation. Breakfast experience – A wide and tasty buffet, prompt service, with hot dishes prepared on request made for an energizing start to each day. Ideal for short stopovers – I originally planned this as a two‑night rest to avoid a long drive after a flight. While I didn’t have time for the spa, its generally praised 1,000 m² wellness area shows just how full a longer stay could be. Impeccable cleanliness – I hold very high standards for hygiene; the room and public areas surpassed them entirely.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Warm welcome, well heated clean, spacious and comfortable room, good bed and extremely good breakfast including great coffee and fruit. Spacious parking for a big car.
