Apukka Resort is in Apukka, just 15 minutes drive from Rovaniemi. The property features multiple saunas, including an ice sauna, igloo sauna and movable saunas. The room is super cute and clean, I love the design and decorations! There are some trolleys for you to move luggages much more easier. Breakfast is quite good, staffs are friendly and happy to help. This boutique hotel is 8 km from Rovaniemi Airport and Santa Claus Village. It features bright, ultra-modern rooms with individually themed décor. WiFi and parking are free. If you value comfort, this is the perfect place. Everything this hotel offered was top notch. We got an extremely spacious room, comfortably and fashionably furnished with our own mini kitchen, ironing board and all the other equipment that should be in such a place. The bathroom had all the cosmetics, including separate shampoo, body gel, conditioner, body lotion and hand wash. We came with a dog and got a special room, located at the entrance to the hotel on the other side (so we didn't have to go through the entire hotel to go for a walk). Another convenience was the private parking. The hotel is also located by the river and a nice place for longer walks, as well as near shops. However, the biggest advantage of this hotel is the food. Breakfasts are fantastic. Everything you could dream of is served, of the best quality. We also visited the restaurant and the dinner served to us also delighted us. Additionally, our dog received a bowl for the duration of his stay, a blanket and a small gift. Thank you very much for an incredibly successful stay. We will definitely return to this hotel next time in a larger group.

This traditional finnish house with its garden, set in a quiet and neat neighborhood, at 5 minutes drive from downtown Rovaniemi, is a real beauty. The building is old but very well kept, and made comfy and practical as far as the structure allows. Rooms are large and niclely decorated (although old style), cleanliness is far above finnish standards, and a modern heating plant makes it easy to adjust each room to your personal comfort. Amd now the best part: Ioannis is the most welcoming, friendly and careful host you can ever meet. He loves to take care of his guests, and is happy to do and say whatever can make you feel welcomed. He stocked the house with plenty of all sorts of food (allowing us to have 2 full breakfasts and a lunch at home), we is ready to tell you everything about history, traditions, locations, but in a discrete and respectful way. Communications with Ioannis are a pleasure, and he can reach you, if needed, in no time. We had a wonderful time, and will come here again, if we can ❤️
