Koli National Park is 5 minutes’ drive away, while Joensuu is 65 km from the cottages. The location is amazing next to the big lake. And house facilities are great with all the pots and utensils and you have a fireplace inside . The kitchen and bedroom were nice and having a sauna was a plus. Great customer service and good communication in advance. Check in and check out was smooth. Also you have a nice and cozy barbeque place with an igloo shape place we did the barbecue in winter when temperatures were -20degree. 😄. We were 3 people The place we stayed can fit up to 6. Overall we were very happy with the place , service and everything. The location is close to the national park and other nice destinations.

It was a really family-friendly place. For example, we could drive for 5 minutes to the top place to park from here; it offers heat system and sauna, it was private and secure. The kitchen was also excellent, it offers almost everything we need.

The property offers a children's playground. Breakfast was good and staff was so nice! Room was nice and cozy but quite hot.

Koli National Park is a beautiful place to visit but for me, the view from the cottage was even better than the ones from the famous viewpoints in Koli. You have an inmense piece of land for yourself with direct access to a clean, clear, and calm Finnish lake. The real Finnish experience doesn't get any better than this. I hope I can come back to this place in the future. I can highly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit this part of Finland.
