Koli National Park is 5 minutes’ drive away, while Joensuu is 65 km from the cottages. I am rarely as happy about a place as I was with the Kolin Lotus Cottages. The cottage which was attributed to us is right in front of a lake surrounded by trees. The furnishings were perfectly kept and well chosen. The cottage offers everything you need including a working chimney and a sauna. Everything works and when called about a detail a very kind gentleman came to help literally within seconds. The absolute peace and quiet of the place is astounding.

It was a really family-friendly place. For example, we could drive for 5 minutes to the top place to park from here; it offers heat system and sauna, it was private and secure. The kitchen was also excellent, it offers almost everything we need.

This beautiful location is settled in an absolutely calm and peaceful surrounding. Toni gave us the warmest welcome so we felt like home instantly. The Appartement is well equipped and has a perfect size for two people. Koli National Park is right around the corner with a lot of impressive hikes.
