Kittilä Airport is 50 km away. The place is wonderful to spend a few days being able to do various activities during the day. The staff is extremely friendly and ready to help you if you need it. Excellent and varied breakfast, possibility to take sauna directly in the lodge. Everything very clean and neat. Super recommended

Offering 5 log cottages by Ylläs Mountain, Tunturioravat is a 5-minute walk from central Äkäslompolo. All cottages have wooden interiors, free Wi-Fi access and a private sauna. Ylläs Ski Resort is 2.7 km away. We’ve had an amazing week in Simon’s cottage! The location and the cottage were perfect. Simon always replies very quick and is happy to help out with everything. The sauna is amazing after a cold day in the snow. I can’t wait to go back some day!

Hotel Ylläshumina is beautifully situated by Lake Äkäslompolo, near the village of Äkäslompolo. Guests have access to the excellent Ylläs ski slopes and a variety of hiking trails through the peaceful Lappish wilderness. We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The property is beautiful, food is tasty, rooms are comfortable, and the saunas are really nice. Staff are friendly and happy to help you plan your stay.
