I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

We hung out, laughed a lot, swapped stories and creeds till way past my normal bedtime...and the conversations were fabulous! The beds were comfy, and my whole family slept great and woke up to a delicious breakfast feeling refreshed and ready to go on to our next Scottish adventure!

The Cottage was incredibly clean and extremely well equipped with modern and top quality facilities. Very comfortable would definitely recommend. Parents loved it as well. Underfloor heating was great and the place was just generally very warm even in March with snow outside.

Great place to stay for visiting Cairngorms and distilleries. The house is spacious for 2 people, very clean and quiet. Good communication with Cameron. Everything was perfect, even the cool weather.

Very cosy and warm, loved the wood stove and large kitchen diner. Lovely and quiet , next door to some great pubs and fife arms, forest walking circuits 2 mins away
