Very close to the port and close to the bus stop. It is perfect if you need to take a ferry for the islands. We felt safe in the neighborhood. The appartment was very clean, cozy and nice. Very nice, clean, warm, and relaxing family owned hotel with wonderful views. The owners are very hospitable, cheerful, and eager to help and accommodate every need. They even tried to find a ski instructor for our young one.The cuisine is local of high quality "traditional home cooking." With dedicated parking space and very close to the chania ski resort(5 mins by car). An all around excellent choice to get in touch with nature and relax.

Everything The property is very well organized We received a very warm welcome at the midnight and the room was so comfortable and had best view. The shower had very strong pressure and the Internet was good. Konstantinos ans his mother were so nice and kind as well as the housekeeping lady with beautiful smile. Breakfast was very good and they made the best tea for me(a serious tea drinker) and I enjoyed it very much.

The place Portaria was perfect. The house was beautiful you can't see it fully through pictures, you have to visit it. Perfect vacation combination of rural mountain village and beautiful beaches that are not far from the accommodation. The owner is very attentive and hospitable and with her help she helped us a lot about nearby places that are worth visiting. The cleanliness is at a high level and the breakfast is abundant and excellent prepared from local products. I recommend it wholeheartedly and hope to visit it again
