We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Marija’s villa, and we can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, Marija welcomed us with such warmth and generosity that we immediately felt at home. She is truly a kind-hearted and thoughtful host, always making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. Her hospitality was simply outstanding. The villa itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly well-equipped. Every detail has been carefully thought through—from the fully stocked kitchen to the little touches like extra towels, coffee, spices, and even board games. It really felt like everything we could possibly need was already there, and more. We especially enjoyed the outdoor barbecue area, which was perfect for relaxing evenings with family and friends. The washing machine and dryer made life easy during our stay, and even the dartboard added a fun twist to our time at the villa—we spent many cheerful evenings competing and laughing together. The house is ideal for families or groups, with plenty of space, comfortable beds, and a peaceful atmosphere. The surrounding area is quiet and scenic, which made our stay all the more relaxing. Marija went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and her kind spirit truly made this trip special. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories. We had deluxe apartament on the 3rd floor and it was amazing. Clean, big enough for family of 4, you can find everything what you need. There is a pool in the garden and some activities for children. All in all we were really happy.

Set 7 km from Plitvice Lakes National Park, 16 Lakes Hotel offers modernly equipped rooms and suites in Grabovac. Guests can relax at the sun terrace by the outdoor pool. The room was extremely spacious, including a large terrace, so for 4 people we felt extremely comfortable. The beds were excellent too. We ate twice in the restaurant and both the service and the food were outstanding. We reserved the Spa/Jacuzzi area for 2 hours, but the jacuzzi was not hot enough for us to enjoy it and the sauna was too hot. We also had massages which were very relaxing (50eur for 1h). The location is perfect for access to the park Entrance 1. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain the different routes to take in the park and where to eat. The best place we stayed on our whole trip to Croatia (and best deal).

The owner is very kind and explained where to go and what to see in the evening. As a result, we visited some places that are not typically open to the public. The owner also offered a nice breakfast with eggs, coffee, some ham, and cheese, which was enough for the day. There is some reconstruction happening on the first floor, and soon it will look much better. If I visit the Plitvice Lakes again, I would consider staying there again.
