The facilities and services are excellent. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. The game rooms provided entertainment to kids between 5 and 16 years old. The restaurant is great and absolutely willing to accommodate different requests.

Selfness Hotel Vadvirág Mátraszentimre ligger i Mátraszentimre og har en bar. Overnatningsstedet har en restaurant, et fælles opholdsområde, en sauna og et boblebad. I can feel staff are trying to helpl and really friendly but they dont speak english which makes complicated in communication. Like i dont know what is included and what is charged even though i can feel they are honest but just i dont understand what was charged. Also i left message no need for dinner in room on my arrival day, i guess they are nice or dont understand my message, they still put dinner in my room and was wasted. I appreciate the gesture, but just check the message and that is not neccessary. No harsh feeling, just totally can be avoid misunderstanding

Hotel Ózon & Luxury Villas is a 4-star superior hotel set in the Mátra mountain range, surrounded by the Mátra National Preserve. The Hotel is amazing! The building itself, the nature around it, the food ... We simply had a great time!

POP Tiny House Mátra ligger i Mátraszentimre. Denne lejlighed har en have og gratis privat parkering. We spent 2 nights in the tiny cabin with my partner and all in all, it was a great experience. The house could be found easily following the instructions received from the owner on the day of our arrival - the cabin's located within about 30 meters from the road and is completely surrounded by nature which we absolutely loved. The check-in procedure and "activating the cabin" was easy, too, with our host sending us clear instructions on where the key and main switches are (to have the electricity, heating and water going on). The cabin could be heated up in a relatively short time and the thermostat was easy to use, we didn't have any issues with the temperature within the cabin (mid-October). We've always had enough hot water to shower and clean our dishes, too. The cabin's well equipped for a short stay: there are plenty of utensils, plates, an electric stove, a coffee maker (moka), pots and pans, dishwashing liquid and sponge, etc. The cabin's surprisingly spacious with a large counter in the kitchen area, two beds with plenty of space to move around and even comfortably sit up, some space to store your stuff, even a bookshelf, desk and a sofa to hang around at. The bathroom was also comfy to use with a decent shower and sink, and a one-of-a-kind toilet to use (it's not a regular toilet but one without water to flush). There's no local internet or wi-fi, but phone reception was perfect in the whole Matra region in case you need to use your phone (4G was also available at all times) - we only used our phones to plan our trips around the area. The owner was also very nice and helpful and was available over the phone when we've had a question regarding the cabin. All in all, we loved the whole atmosphere of the cabin in the middle of the forest, it's an amazing place to spend some time away from your busy life. Even though it's a bit on the pricy side, we believe we've made the right choice.
