The place was extremely clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. There was filtered water, kitchen supplies, comfortable beds, and ample space.

We really enjoyed the stay. The accommodation was very clean and spacious, it was everything we have hoped for. And the owner was very friendly and helpful. Located in a small village above Varenna, 25 minutes walk from the train station which is steep, but manageable and there you are - this is real Italy away from the touristic towns located by the Como lake. The views on a way are amazing. The owner is very kind, the apartment spotless clean equipped with everything for cooking. The balcony is overlooking the beautiful and well kept garden with roses and olives trees as well as the Como lake on one side- so beautiful views and atmosphere. The bed is comfy and dogs nearby didn’t bother us with barking as we expected. We recommend this apartment for those tired of touristic places and would like to return one day.

It was going to be our first time in Como. And we were meant to have a weekend getaway for our wedding anniversary. After spending a long time deciding which area of Como to stay in, we finally booked this hotel in Lecco, thinking we'd give it a chance—and it exceeded all expectations. The location turned out to be a fantastic one. Your window opens directly to the lake, and you wake up to an incredible view. The road in front of the hotel isn’t very busy, making it ideal for walks. Also, we had no issues at all with parking. After visiting all the other areas in Como, we were glad we booked here. The other popular spots were all overly crowded and commercial, but this place felt more local. The rooms were clean and spacious enough. Paola was a star—such a sweet lady, always smiling and helpful. The restaurant/bar downstairs seemed quite sufficient; we sat for coffee a few times and had breakfast once. We will definitely return to Como and stay here again.

The apartment is just 3 minutes from the train station, yet located in a quiet and peaceful building with easy access. It’s compact but has everything you need, including air conditioning. The host was incredibly thoughtful—Ivana stocked the place with water, basic food, even first aid supplies, and welcomed us with a bottle of wine. She also provides clear, detailed check-in instructions, including videos, which made our arrival completely stress-free. Everything was super clean and well organized, and communication with her was flawless from start to finish. We especially enjoyed the small terrace with lounge chairs, where we spent our last afternoon reading with the sound of birds all around. There’s a public beach and a Conad supermarket just 5 minutes away on foot. We slept deeply and in total silence every night. We truly felt at home and cared for. Highly recommended!

The highlight of the property was the amount of space we got. It was a standalone guest house with a full kitchen, living room, full bathroom and master bed room. The living room had a small patio with a view of the mountains. Truly perfect. Bathroom was spacious and had good water pressure. Hosts were meticulous in cleaning, and the toilet bowl even had a professional looking paper strip to show that it was cleaned before our stay. No hairs or dirt all. Our hosts, Giuliana and Fabio were amazing too. Very friendly and responsive, gave us plenty of tips for the area on where to eat and visit, which was much appreciated. The kitchen was also stocked with beer and wine and even breakfast which we were told to help ourselves with, at no extra cost. The apartment is about a 10-15min walk from the city center, very manageable, but bellagio is generally hilly so do note. Overall loved our stay, and would definitely stay again next time we are back.
