Wonderfully situated in the mountains with great walks straight from property. Good facilities and fantastic breakfast in an authentic car free Italian hamlet. There were 2 kitchens as well as the possibility to use washing machine!

Maccagno is a small, friendly village with ample bars and restaurants. Sole and Lago is beautiful. Davide built and designed the apartments to have privacy and to contain everything one needs in a modern, efficient living space; you get the WOW factor upon entering the apartment…then comes the view - absolutely gorgeous! Also, Davide is always available to assist with you anything you may need. My wife and I had a month’s stay and were extremely pleased with Davide, the apartment and Maccagno!

The apartment has been well renovated with lots of nice touches to feel like you are at home. It also has a complete kitchen so you can cook with all the crockery, glassware and utensils you'd need. Along with a large fridge and dishwasher. The washing machine was also appreciated. One of my favourite things was the view from the apartment over the lake and to the mountains. I watched the sunrise every day. It was beautiful. There's a table and chairs on the balcony so great for a morning coffee. Manuela the host is lovely. She left a number of things in the apartment to enjoy including coffee and biscuits, and checked in on me over message a number of times. I highly recommend this villa. He was helpful, informative and such a pleasure to work with. This apartment could not be in a better location. It is minutes from the ferry dock and close to excellent restaurants and gelato shops. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for an amazing stay, Guiliano, we appreciate all you did for us.

Lovely and good size apartment, all very new, clean and well organized, right in the center of Stresa, conveniently located near restaurants, shops and the lake. Meggy, the owner was very positive and smiling and always in the line to help us. She was ready to solve any issue that may arise. I strongly recommend it. There was even a complimentary bottle of Prosecco coffee and some snacks waiting for us :-) in the future if I come back to Stresa, definitely will choice Meggy again. Nice helpful owner. We were the first guests. A lot of space inside. Dinner: pasta pizza Meta and fisg local at FociSpina in Nebbiono.

The accommodation is very good - spacious and comfortable with everything you need. The choice of bath and shower is ideal. The location is close to the town, shops and ferries and the short walk uphill from the town is rewarded with a simply magnificent view of the lake and mountains. The hosts were very helpful, let us check in early and offered to pick us up and drop us at the train station.
