Wonderful place, excellent position (within the temple area). The owners are extremely kind and helpful. Very good breakfast. You have the impression to travel back in time.

Everything was impeccable and the spaces are all very cozy. The private bath was a such a treat. We loved the views from the room and shared spaces as the house is next to the forest. Akira is an awesome host. Even though we stayed here during green (and rainy) season, he gave us lots of recommendations of things to do around the area. He speaks English fluently so communication was very easy. Can’t recommend enough!

I can’t say enough great things about this place. Everything is so clean and well kept, the staff is so friendly, welcoming and helpful and there is a wonderful sense of community among those staying there. The beds were also some of the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced at an accommodation.

They keep the shared kitchen stocked with eggs and they gift you bread and drinks in the room refrigerator. They were so nice and my family had a lot of fun with the numerous dinosaur toys, puzzles, and decorations.

The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, taking the time to explain everything about the home and the city of Gujo. He also gave us an excellent recommendation for a local izakaya, which was the perfect spot for dinner. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic and personal experience!
