It was a magical experience be so close to everything. Love to have the whole house for us. The owner welcomed us and helped us to go around.

Nằm tại vị trí thuận tiện ở Hirayu Onsen, Takayama, Yunohirakan nằm cách Bảo tàng Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village 38 km, Bảo tàng The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum 47 km và Ga Matsumoto 49 km. We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were great and very informative about the location and transport options etc. An absolute must stay if you are near the area. The food was incredible for breakfast and dinner, very traditional and gorgeous meat. The private baths are the best we went in, the fact they are private is a massive plus. We had the best time here; thank you to all the staff! It is also really close to the bus station to get to the Kamikochi Valley.

Situated in a tranquil area in Gifu Region, a 52-minute drive away from JR Takayama Station, Mozumo boasts a hot-spring bath and rooms decorated with modern Japanese interior. Spacious rooms, very tastefully decorated in a minimalistic style. The private onsen was blissful. Food was excellent (although a bit pricey). The hotel is 5 minutes from the bus station, with connections to the main cities and to the Kamikoche park. Overall, highly recommended.

Reopened after renovation in 2022, Auberge Hidanomori is situated in quiet hills, a 10-minute shuttle ride from JR Takayama Station. Exceptional - the location is stunning, the owners so warm and friendly, the dinner was truly an experience - the paired wines really elevated the experience. The decor has been carefully thought out. The onsen was really enjoyable. Probably one of the best meals/experiences I have had. The owners and staff deserve real credit for how much attention to detail, creativity, love and perfection they have put into this place. 10/10 experience, we hope to come back!!!

Offering traditional Japanese-style accommodation with spacious public baths, Yatsusankan Over 6 years old is a 6-minute walk from JR Hidafurukawa Train Station. I came here for my birthday. Unfortunately we didn't get there until late around 8pm, due to trains and train problems: they leave Nagoya every 2 hours and ours was delayed (so give yourself time to get there at a reasonable time) {I phoned them to let them know we would be late},you will also need to take a local train from Takayama. It was raining and we were cold and tired. Since we were late I wasn't sure if we would get supper even though I had paid for it. But thankfully we did and the food was excellent! Very fancy! We ate in a private dinning room looking out on to a garden. Our room was excellent! It was quite big for Japan. There was tatami mats, interesting monkey scroll in the alcove, interesting classy furnishings even the bathroom sink was beautiful. The hot springs/ baths were very good , I enjoyed the outdoor ones which had beautiful gardens. I loved wandering the halls of this ryokan lots of traditional architecture and art work (a beautiful folding screen). You really can feel the history of this hotel.

Beautiful location and view of the river from the room we stayed in. Friendly host. The property had all the necessary amenities and was of a good size.
