Green Bell suited us perfectly. Grandma was happy and safe in the downstairs bedroom and the kids were happy to bounce up and down the stairs. The Lodge was perfectly appointed with more than enough cosy bedding and pillows. The kitchen had every little thing we needed and we were toasty warm despite the heavy snow outside. It is obvious that great care has been taken in preparing the Lodge for guests and we consider ourselves very lucky to have found the Lodge in time for our holiday. The only caution is distance from the ski fields. It is not terribly far but a car is definitely necessary. Again, Green Bell, Lodge 4 was excellent. We only wished we had been able to stay longer…

The property is also located next to the ski hill, great to get the first tracks on a powder day. The property has its own daily "Onsen" (Japanese Hot Spring / Bathing). The Onsen turned into a daily ritual to sooth the aches and pains from snowboarding. Food: The onsite chief offers the opportunity have an authentic and fresh meal each night. I had some of the best meals during my visit in Japan through at the property. Staff: Always polite and helpful. David supported the guests trips to the local resorts and transport. All in all, if you have the opportunity to visit, I would encourage you to book your holiday and see for yourself.

We had a wonderful time at Baco Myoko. Ai, is the most amazing host. She is thoughtful, generous, and made us feel like family. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. She cooked delicious breakfast every morning, cooked us a traditional Japanese dinner on two of our nights there, took us to the fire festival in Nozawa Onsen and went skiing with us a couple of times. The location is perfect - right on the main street with easy access to restaurants, bars and slopes! Bedroom was spacious and we loved the onsens! Highly recommend!

Well located, really spacious with all the amenities one would need. Laundry, fully stocked kitchen, great wifi speeds etc. very centrally located close to town and the supermarket. You’d want to cook cos their kitchen is great. Matt also does snow clearing on massive days so takes the stress of digging the car out!
