However the stairway going up to the bedrooms is steep and a challenge to older folks. Otherwise a beautiful ryokan to experience Japanese living.

It was very big and comfortable for our family. All necessary equipment (bath, laundry, towels, kitchen..);and also nice gifts 😁. It also work like a small conbini as you can buy noodle, drinks whatever you need in the house.

Situated in a tranquil area in Gifu Region, a 52-minute drive away from JR Takayama Station, Mozumo boasts a hot-spring bath and rooms decorated with modern Japanese interior. We loved the subtile and tasteful architecture of the place. Everything was beautiful in its simplicity. The private onsen was fantastic especially with the forest in the background. Everything was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The staff was so kind and provided a perfect service. Food was excellent.

Food is overflowing and their hospitality is unmatched! There is also a private onsen in the facility. They don't discriminate race or those with tattoos.

Reopened after renovation in 2022, Auberge Hidanomori is situated in quiet hills, a 10-minute shuttle ride from JR Takayama Station. Auberge is a beautifully designed, minimalist small family run hotel. The rooms are a great size, comfortable and the bathrooms have lovely hot water onsen baths! What sets this place apart is the amazing food you can have for dinner and breakfast. It’s the best feeling coming down the stairs to eat in their lovely dining space, experience the most amazing food and wine pairings of your life and then easily walk upstairs to bed. Thank you for an amazing stay, we will definitely be back and recommend to all our friends.

Offering traditional Japanese-style accommodation with spacious public baths, Yatsusankan Over 6 years old is a 6-minute walk from JR Hidafurukawa Train Station. Very nice hotel with excelent staff

Apollon tọa lạc ở Gujo Hachiman, Gujo, cách Gujohachiman Rakugeikan 5 phút đi bộ, Koko no mori Museum Yudokan 400 m và Saito Art Museum 5 phút đi bộ. I loved that the property was located right on the river and in close proximity to everything.
