Once again it was an excellent base to explore Dovrefell national park. Oppdal is only 25mins away from Kongsvol train station where you can hike to the DNT hut Reinheim or search around for Musk Ox to photograph. Friendly owner and the cabins are super comfortable and warm.

The house was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay at Oppdal.

Everything was available inside (washing machine, dryer, smart TV, etc.). But what makes it unique is the view from the place - just stunning! Do not hesitate to book this place especially for longer stay. Good contact with the owner was also something to appreciate.

Out of six places I stayed at on my three week trip to Norway, this was my favorite. The neighborhood has several hiking paths that start within walking distance, and it's close to the shuttle bus to Snøhetta. The host is so friendly and helpful, and I loved coming back to my cute cabin after a hike and being greeted by her (and her cute dogs!). Cabin had an oven/range top, fridge, and everything I needed to cook and store food. I will definitely stay here again! Thank you for a fantastic stay!
