Store Ringheim’s restaurant is open on most days and serves a variety of homemade meals. Guests also have the hotel bar in which to relax after a day out in the surrounding mountains. It also has a garden. This is a beautiful history place family owned. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. A great sense of hospitality.

More adventurous guests can try parachuting, rafting or a wind tunnel. Staff were amazing. Incredibly welcoming, gave us great advice on local hikes and were helpful with every request. The beds were really comfortable. Amazing location right next to the fjord so we could go for a swim in the morning. Close to the train station. Good breakfast and is included which is relatively rare for a hostel. Communal kitchen was always clean and had good facilities. Mixture of people from solo travelers, large groups and families so would suit anyone.
