Restaurant guests can enjoy their meals on the lake-view terrace. The ground-floor bar offers after ski and is an ideal place for drinks and mingling. Live music events are arranged every weekend from December until April. The apartment was more spacious than I expected and clean. The kicthen was enough equipped and I had everything I needed during my staying. The description and the photos of the studio was exactly as depicted on the site. Although the hotel is situated on the main road, it was quiet and very safe staying there. The best of all was the staff at the reception, so polite, helpful, warm and honest. I had a problem with a very late checkin and helped me with an immediate solution for a smoothy check in, early in the morning! And as if that was not enough, the next day, after my check out, the lady in the reception offered to call from her personal mobile and arranged everything for me to solve a problem with the keys of my rental car. I have no words to thank her for her kindness and help. The compassion and the empathy she treated me have been engraved on my mind as an excellent expression of the norwegian hospitality.

Skiing, cycling and fishing are possible within the area, and Haukeli Mountain Cabin offers ski-to-door access. We had a wonderful time in this cabin! It‘s beautiful and there is everything you need to make yourself comfortable. There are other cabins nearby but it‘s still quiet and your private space. It‘s also a good location to explore the beautiful nature and go for a hike. And the host, Søren, is always available if you have questions or need something. Thank you for this stay!

Comfortable, spacious, clean, beautiful apartment with very good facilities. The kitchen had everything one could possibly need and some more. Also there was a washing machine. Our apartment had a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains but this probably varies from one apartment to another (some of the apartments probably don't have much of a view as it is obstructed by the buildings). It was very quiet and pleasant stay. This is a perfect base for exploring nearby mountain nature with a car. Grocery store is in Røldal center just 5 minutes drive away. Underground parking with a lift straight up to the apartment floor was great on rainy weather. These apartments are located in the yellow building behind the main hotel building.

There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. The location of the camping is outstanding. The cabin was cozy and spacy and we were lucky to be very close to the toilet and kitchen facilities and were able to park our car right next to the cabin. The common areas were tidy and clean and so was our cabin. We were traveling on a low budget so we were ok with the standards provided. The town is in walking distance, nice Stave church and good supermarket.
