Excellent place to stay We wanted easy accessibility to fjord nearby and the location is very good. Coming to the place it had everything from equipped kitchen to hot water and good beds. I was traveling with my older parents and toddlers and they were very comfortable. If you want to visit nearby by spots and fjord this is perfect place to stay. We checked in late night and host was responding to queries very late hours which was such a help for us. We loved the stay a neat and clean, spacious place to stay.

Røldal Ski Centre is 7 km away. In summer, guests can fish and swim in Lake Røldalsvatnet, 1 km away. Hiking and cross-country ski trails run right by the property. We loved it! Waking up to that view is amazing, apartment is more spacious than we thought, ideal for those looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. We chose it over Odda as it was more affordable and less busy, there's a bus from Oslo that stops a few meters away. Would stay again :)

Restaurant guests can enjoy their meals on the lake-view terrace. The ground-floor bar offers after ski and is an ideal place for drinks and mingling. Live music events are arranged every weekend from December until April. A great hotel with huge duplex rooms for the five of us. Good secure parking in the basement for the five motorcycles. Lovely helpful staff who couldn’t do more to help. Definitely stay here again!!

Skiing, cycling and fishing are possible within the area, and Haukeli Mountain Cabin offers ski-to-door access. We had a wonderful time in this cabin! It‘s beautiful and there is everything you need to make yourself comfortable. There are other cabins nearby but it‘s still quiet and your private space. It‘s also a good location to explore the beautiful nature and go for a hike. And the host, Søren, is always available if you have questions or need something. Thank you for this stay!

Comfortable, spacious, clean, beautiful apartment with very good facilities. The kitchen had everything one could possibly need and some more. Also there was a washing machine. Our apartment had a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains but this probably varies from one apartment to another (some of the apartments probably don't have much of a view as it is obstructed by the buildings). It was very quiet and pleasant stay. This is a perfect base for exploring nearby mountain nature with a car. Grocery store is in Røldal center just 5 minutes drive away. Underground parking with a lift straight up to the apartment floor was great on rainy weather. These apartments are located in the yellow building behind the main hotel building.
