The location was stunning. The barn and surroundings were impeccable and comfortable. The host was extremely communicative. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Røldal Ski Centre is 7 km away. A ski bus departs from Røldal Hyttegrend every weekend. The Hardanger Fjord is 45 km from the cottages. Very comfy and luxury stay. We got whole Hytte with fully equipped kitchen (DISHWASHER!!! even:) and two bedrooms. Nice sitting terrace with mountain wiev. Common space with big sofa and dining area was great. Wholw complex is well organized, with reception and paid sauna, but very affordable, with perfect view and swimming in the river bath! (book in advance, very popular!) Grocery is 5-10min walk away. A lot to see, hike and visit around! Thank u!!!

Røldal Ski Centre is 7 km away. In summer, guests can fish and swim in Lake Røldalsvatnet, 1 km away. Hiking and cross-country ski trails run right by the property. We loved it! Waking up to that view is amazing, apartment is more spacious than we thought, ideal for those looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. We chose it over Odda as it was more affordable and less busy, there's a bus from Oslo that stops a few meters away. Would stay again :)

Situated on Lake Vågslidvatn, this hotel is 4 km away from Haukelifjell Ski Centre. It offers free WiFi and accommodation with scenic views. An on-site restaurant and cosy fireplace lounge can be enjoyed.

Restaurant guests can enjoy their meals on the lake-view terrace. The ground-floor bar offers after ski and is an ideal place for drinks and mingling. Live music events are arranged every weekend from December until April. The apartment was more spacious than I expected and clean. The kicthen was enough equipped and I had everything I needed during my staying. The description and the photos of the studio was exactly as depicted on the site. Although the hotel is situated on the main road, it was quiet and very safe staying there. The best of all was the staff at the reception, so polite, helpful, warm and honest. I had a problem with a very late checkin and helped me with an immediate solution for a smoothy check in, early in the morning! And as if that was not enough, the next day, after my check out, the lady in the reception offered to call from her personal mobile and arranged everything for me to solve a problem with the keys of my rental car. I have no words to thank her for her kindness and help. The compassion and the empathy she treated me have been engraved on my mind as an excellent expression of the norwegian hospitality.

Comfortable, spacious, clean, beautiful apartment with very good facilities. The kitchen had everything one could possibly need and some more. Also there was a washing machine. Our apartment had a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains but this probably varies from one apartment to another (some of the apartments probably don't have much of a view as it is obstructed by the buildings). It was very quiet and pleasant stay. This is a perfect base for exploring nearby mountain nature with a car. Grocery store is in Røldal center just 5 minutes drive away. Underground parking with a lift straight up to the apartment floor was great on rainy weather. These apartments are located in the yellow building behind the main hotel building.
