The barn and surroundings were impeccable and comfortable. The host was extremely communicative. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Situated in central Røldal, this property offers wooden cottages with a private terrace, kitchenette and free Wi-Fi access. Parking is free on site. Very comfy and luxury stay. We got whole Hytte with fully equipped kitchen (DISHWASHER!!! even:) and two bedrooms. Nice sitting terrace with mountain wiev. Common space with big sofa and dining area was great. Wholw complex is well organized, with reception and paid sauna, but very affordable, with perfect view and swimming in the river bath! (book in advance, very popular!) Grocery is 5-10min walk away. A lot to see, hike and visit around! Thank u!!!

Situated 4 km from Røldal Village, overlooking Lake Røldalsvatnet, Hordatun Hotel offers international cuisine and an on-site bar. The apartment was more spacious than I expected and clean. The kicthen was enough equipped and I had everything I needed during my staying. The description and the photos of the studio was exactly as depicted on the site. Although the hotel is situated on the main road, it was quiet and very safe staying there. The best of all was the staff at the reception, so polite, helpful, warm and honest. I had a problem with a very late checkin and helped me with an immediate solution for a smoothy check in, early in the morning! And as if that was not enough, the next day, after my check out, the lady in the reception offered to call from her personal mobile and arranged everything for me to solve a problem with the keys of my rental car. I have no words to thank her for her kindness and help. The compassion and the empathy she treated me have been engraved on my mind as an excellent expression of the norwegian hospitality.

Comfortable, spacious, clean, beautiful apartment with very good facilities. The kitchen had everything one could possibly need and some more. Also there was a washing machine. Our apartment had a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains but this probably varies from one apartment to another (some of the apartments probably don't have much of a view as it is obstructed by the buildings). It was very quiet and pleasant stay. This is a perfect base for exploring nearby mountain nature with a car. Grocery store is in Røldal center just 5 minutes drive away. Underground parking with a lift straight up to the apartment floor was great on rainy weather. These apartments are located in the yellow building behind the main hotel building.
