Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. This hotel is more than just a hotel. The owners make you feel like part of the family they are there to help. They are fourth generation owners and they have got everything correct. A beautiful historic hotel in a tranquil l setting next to a lac. Absolutely perfection itself. Nothing was a problem. I am lactose intolerant and they prepared different meals for me. The breakfast had so much choice even vegan cheese which was really lovely, and while I'm praising this hotel, I would just like to say they have the best coffee in Norway that I've tasted. Congratulations for treating their guests as friends. When we come back to Norway we certainly will go out of our way to stay there again. The location overlooking the lake is Paradise, with the nicest owners.

Vollsnes Feriehus is situated in Hjelle, by Lake Strynevatnet, All accommodation options have a fully equipped kitchen and free WiFi. Some offer lake views. Stryn Ski Centre is 25 km away. Location is just breathtaking… wonderful cabin with everything facilitated Great host !!

We also enjoyed the barbecue area in the evening during sunset. The house was spacious, clean, well-organized, and had everything we needed. Everything in Olden was close by, and we didn’t miss anything. The host was very helpful and caring, always guiding us. I highly recommend this place!

Housed in a 19th-century building by Stryn Bay, this hotel offers individually decorated rooms with private balconies and free WiFi access. Stryn centre is a short walk away. Drying room for wet clothes. Bedrooms were lovely. Open fire was good.

Our cabin had a lake view and a big space with beautiful grass, ideal for children to play outside. Availability to rent a boat and opportunity to fish. We enjoyed our stay a lot! We were lucky with the weather as well so it made it extra special. I recommend it a lot 🇧🇻🥰
