Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. Great location, very clean. Very nice hotel, charming. We took the dinner and it was really good.

Vollsnes Feriehus is situated in Hjelle, by Lake Strynevatnet, All accommodation options have a fully equipped kitchen and free WiFi. Some offer lake views. Stryn Ski Centre is 25 km away. Beautiful cabin in a spectacular environment. Very friendly people!

Plenty of space for a very large family or sharing with friends. 2 btahrooms was a huge plus. Great kitchen for meals. Grocery and wine/ liquor store in town. We barely used the TV because there was so much to enjoy. We especially enjoyed the sauna overlooking the view. This place is the most wonderful we’ve ever stayed at and we would rebook without hesitation.
