This former farmhouse has been carefully restored and converted into a rustic hotel and restaurant. Just 1 km from Voss, modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs feature in each room. An incredible experience. Everything hit the mark! The setting on a hill. The comfort and class of the rooms. The thoughtful hospitality of the proprietors that are going out of their way to make your stay warm and pleasant, from a personal pickup at the station, to attending to you over breakfast. The food at Restaurant Flor'n was delicious with great ambience. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Couldn't have imagined a better stay.

Vollsnes Feriehus is situated in Hjelle, by Lake Strynevatnet, All accommodation options have a fully equipped kitchen and free WiFi. Some offer lake views. Stryn Ski Centre is 25 km away. The host was very lovely. Accommodation was like a gem in paradise and the location breath taking.

Very caring and helpful - it was a pleasure talking with them every time we met. The cottage was very clean. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The terrace is one of the highlights with stunning views of the surrounding areas. Great hikes in the vicinity and Gudvangen is only a 15-minute drive away from where you can take the ferry to flam. I highly recommend this place!

We stayed only for 2 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful, well maintained, and has an amazing view. It was super clean and had all we needed, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of towels. Beds were very comfortable, which is important to us. Also, you can completely darken the rooms, another big plus. The communication with hosts was perfect. They are very thoughtful and provided a list of attractions, restaurants, and hikes in the area. That was really useful since the area has so much to offer and it helped us choose the activities for our limited time there. We went to Briksdalsbreen glacier. The house is near a ski resort, so it must be a great place to stay in the winter. We highly recommend this house and the hosts.
