Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. I was staying in the Motel building, and everything was much better I expected. Nice room with everything needed, green grass with tables in front of the room and emerald lake just behind it. This place looks like heaven.

This former farmhouse has been carefully restored and converted into a rustic hotel and restaurant. Just 1 km from Voss, modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs feature in each room. An incredible experience. Everything hit the mark! The setting on a hill. The comfort and class of the rooms. The thoughtful hospitality of the proprietors that are going out of their way to make your stay warm and pleasant, from a personal pickup at the station, to attending to you over breakfast. The food at Restaurant Flor'n was delicious with great ambience. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Couldn't have imagined a better stay.

Overlooking the Lustra Fjord, these seaside cottages include a private terrace, kitchenette and free Wi-Fi access. Urnes Stave Church is 15 km away. Lovely Sjøbuer located directly on the fjord with a great view. Comfortable and cozy. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Vollsnes Feriehus is situated in Hjelle, by Lake Strynevatnet, All accommodation options have a fully equipped kitchen and free WiFi. Some offer lake views. Stryn Ski Centre is 25 km away. Beautiful cabin in a spectacular environment. Very friendly people!

The house was perfect in every way—cozy, beautifully maintained, and with the most stunning views over the mountains and lake. Waking up to this scenery felt like a dream. The host Jarle was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home, adding a personal touch that made our stay even more special. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we truly hope to return one day. Highly recommended to anyone visiting this amazing part of Norway!”

Some reviews said that there were no blinds and was missing a hair dryer but when I got there, all windows had blinds/curtains and hair dryer was stored in the bathroom. Overall, it was really pleasant to stay here.

We stayed only for 2 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful, well maintained, and has an amazing view. It was super clean and had all we needed, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of towels. Beds were very comfortable, which is important to us. Also, you can completely darken the rooms, another big plus. The communication with hosts was perfect. They are very thoughtful and provided a list of attractions, restaurants, and hikes in the area. That was really useful since the area has so much to offer and it helped us choose the activities for our limited time there. We went to Briksdalsbreen glacier. The house is near a ski resort, so it must be a great place to stay in the winter. We highly recommend this house and the hosts.
