Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. A daily, shuttle service is available hourly from 6:00 until 9:00 to the Tongariro Crossing & National park. Free parking is available. Really enjoyed the Garden unit. Big comfortable bed, fun to have a bath on the deck. Was a very calm night's rest. Was great to be able to park right outside the unit.

Ski storage space is available on site and skiing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Great location, great view! Had everything we needed and more. Mary was so kind and helpful. She even upgraded our room saying "I always do when I can". Recommend!
