Well maintained, clean and has all you need for your stay. The electric fireplace was awesome. Would definitely recommend this property.

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. Loved our stay! The staff was so kind and helpful and we had the greatest massages.

Located in the Tongariro National Park, The Park Hotel Ruapehu offers affordable accommodation in a stunning alpine setting. Guests are provided with free parking and 500MB of free WiFi. We really loved the family rooms - they were warm despite the cold temperatures. The hot water systems (i.e. the showers) were excellent. Finding the hotel and accessing the car park was also very easy. The restaurant (the spiral) also served very high quality food. The cost of the rooms was outstanding value for money.

Set in National Park, Mountain Heights Lodge offers six self-contained motel units and four ensuite B&B rooms, BnB rooms welcomes children over the age of 14 and above. Private parking is free. The hostess was accommodating and cheerful. The room was clean (a bit worn), and functional. It is located about 15 minutes from the National Park. When our track was rained out they were able to accommodate us again on short notice!
