We love that the accommodation is centrally located in National Park village (not that the village is big). Graeme & Lynley also sent us clear instructions how to get into the house all by ourselves, which was really convenient as we travelled after work and reached there quite late in the evening. Everything in the accommodation really makes us feel like "home". There were even kitchen staples that we could use to cook our meals! Love it!

Situated in the heart of Tongariro National Park, Skotel Alpine Resort offers a restaurant, a hot tub and a terrace bar with a fireplace. Most accommodations boast stunning mountain or region views. Stuning view, room was small but really cozy, location wise its quite far from everything but thats the point. buffet breakfast for 25nzd was really nice, guest lodge was had a lot of things

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. easy check in. Great info on hikes in the NP and shuttles available. clean communal toilets & showers. fully equipped kitchen and free onsite parking. would recommend

Located in the Tongariro National Park, The Park Hotel Ruapehu offers affordable accommodation in a stunning alpine setting. Guests are provided with free parking and 500MB of free WiFi. It was close to Tongariro walks and the bed was very good. Our bathroom was also very spacious

The 1st stint I had an easier time checking in. However, once I checked in, it was just like the previous stay. It is a minimalist lodging, which is what I like. There is a community kitchen and cooking area, which is an excellent way to meet new people. I will stay here every time when I am in the Tongariro area.

Comfortable, well-stocked, clean, felt new. Proximity to groceries and to the couple restaurants that were open (we came in the off-season). And Mary was amazing!
