Situated in the heart of Tongariro National Park, Skotel Alpine Resort offers a restaurant, a hot tub and a terrace bar with a fireplace. Most accommodations boast stunning mountain or region views. Amazing location with the best view straight from the bed. The hotel is a little outdated, but everything is extremely clean. Room was really spacious, bed very comfortable, there was kettle and the fridge also. Restaurant serves very good meals.

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. Comfortable and welcoming place, I felt at home and would love to go back there again.

Lovely hosts, cozy, well designed and well appointed room. Great location for shuttle to Tongariro Alpine Crossing, about 15-20 minutes and very close to Foursquare supermarket and hike equipment rental centre. Overall very, very satisfied!
