Beautiful view out the window facing the park. Located on a quiet street. Parking was around the side, getting the key from the lockbox was no issue.

We love that the accommodation is centrally located in National Park village (not that the village is big). Graeme & Lynley also sent us clear instructions how to get into the house all by ourselves, which was really convenient as we travelled after work and reached there quite late in the evening. Everything in the accommodation really makes us feel like "home". There were even kitchen staples that we could use to cook our meals! Love it!

Situated in the heart of Tongariro National Park, Skotel Alpine Resort offers a restaurant, a hot tub and a terrace bar with a fireplace. Most accommodations boast stunning mountain or region views. Nice hotel with kind staff. The bed was super comfortable and the room had a nice view.

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. Just stayed for one night ahead of doing the Tongariro crossing but everything was great. Easy check in out of hours, spacious apartment which was well equipped and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again :)

Located in the Tongariro National Park, The Park Hotel Ruapehu offers affordable accommodation in a stunning alpine setting. Guests are provided with free parking and 500MB of free WiFi. We really loved the family rooms - they were warm despite the cold temperatures. The hot water systems (i.e. the showers) were excellent. Finding the hotel and accessing the car park was also very easy. The restaurant (the spiral) also served very high quality food. The cost of the rooms was outstanding value for money.
