Ilda and Alberto are exceptional hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast they prepare each morning is delicious, and made with care. We also communicated with their son Pedro via WhatsApp, who gave us great tips and helped with our planning. Note: You’ll need a car to reach the property and to explore the area comfortably – it’s not suitable without one. If you're looking for the perfect base for hiking and exploring the Serra da Estrela — this is the place. Highly recommended! .
