Located in a picturesque valley and surrounded by mountains, Pensiunea Sibiel is just a 2-minute drive from Sibiel’s famous Museum of Icons. A sauna and traditional Romanian cuisine are offered at the property. Being in the nature was great. It is close to Sibiel town, yet surrounded by the forest. Staff was kind and prompt. We had papanasi in the restaurant, it was very good. Breakfast is not bad but I was expecting better. Good hotel for the price range.

It was more than a meal—it was a celebration of local tradition and generosity. In the morning, we were greeted with herbal tea made from plants lovingly gathered from the garden. The thoughtful touches didn’t stop there—before we left, she gifted us homemade jam, zacuscă, and a delicious dessert to take home, as if sending us off with a piece of her home. The guest house itself is beautifully decorated with impeccable taste and local charm. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a coffee machine and dishwasher, making it easy to feel right at home. We came as guests but truly left feeling like family. This place is not just a stay—it’s an experience, one that touches the heart. Highly, wholeheartedly recommended.
