The room we stayed in was nice and cozy, clean and fresh. The included freebies were surprisingly more numerous than most of the locations we've stayed at before, so we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was right underneath the rooms and the girls in charge of the place were very kind and made it work when we went to have dinner without announcing first, in which case they created another spot where we could sit at because the restaurant was full. I recommend it 110%. When we revisit the area, we'll stay here again.

There is a garden with a barbecue at this property and guests can go skiing and walking tours nearby. I loved staying at Pensiunea Valurile Bistritei! The entire place is lovely with a river by it. It's a beautiful place to spend a few days to relax away from the noise of the city or very touristy areas. There is a restaurant which is really good. I had the best breakfast in a while. If you are doing Via Transilvanica, be aware that it's about 10km in the opposite direction. However, it's a beautiful walk accompanied by the river. If you don't want to walk, you contact the owner and see if you can be picked up.
