Situated 240 metres above the town of Sundsvall, this hotel offers fantastic views, a popular rooftop spa and a games hall. Both WiFi and private parking are free. The view and the interior atmosphere were fantastic!!! Also, the spa had a lot of small pools and saunas and lounges so it did not feel crowded even though it was fully booked. The hotel also has a lot of other activities, like bowling, laser game, arcade halls, etc, which we did not have time to explore, so we could easily spend more nights here!!!

The location is perfect - central, and it's a 3-minute walk to the bus/train station. The breakfast was nice. Also, there is free tea/coffee/hot chocolate and water available for free 24/7 in the dining area. My room was clean, cosy, bright and offered lovely views of the river at the back of the hotel. It had an armchair and a coffee table, and a desk and a chair, too. The bed was comfortable. My stay started with a little hiccup as I had not received any information about access codes prior to my check-in. I arrived at the locked hotel entrance and had to ring the number written on the door. Luckily a member of the staff (Johan) answered the phone and gave me instructions on how to get in. The reception is located on the 4th floor of the building, so it is a bit unusual. However, everything went smooth after that. Johan was very kind, showed me the common spaces and was very helpful. I felt welcome and comfortable. Johan also told me about a discount for the hotel guests in one of the nearby restaurants. I met him several times throughout my stay and he was always friendly and helpful. On my last day, the staff arranged for me to leave my luggage in the hotel after the check-out, even though it looked like it was not what they usually offered. I was very grateful for this act of kindness. The hotel offers really good services for the price of the stay. I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel and I am planning to stay there again on my future trips to Solleftea.
