I visited Mojstrana by myself in wintertime, without a car. The hostel has an easy access by bus and seems a perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts. The town has a big grocery, so no need to carry much. :) As it was low season, I had the luxury to stay by myself in a cozy room. The tiny details of the old, recycled, beautiful materials for some furnitures was a nice extra touch. Hvala lepa in na svidane!

The location was great, 3-5 minutes from Bus stop, 2-3 minutes from a great pizzeria and 10-15 minutes walk from the castle. The breakfast was great and had quality products, the rooms were clean and spacious and next to the lake as well. The staff were kind and fast as well. Would visit again!

Only 200 metres from the Sava River, Hiša Aleš is set in the centre of Breg ob Savi. Featuring free Wi-Fi, free parking and rooms with mountain views, it offers a restaurant serving Slovenian cuisine and international dishes. The staff were wonderful and very helpful - their English was also fantastic. The food was exceptional. The location was just far enough out of Kranj to be very peaceful and with a bus service just outside, it was very easy to get in and out of town and also to Ljubljana. I would highly recommend Hisa Ales.
