We were a family of three and had plenty of space in our two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, bathroom and big balcony. The apartment is tastefully furnished and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well furnished and we were able to cook dinner almost every day. Our landlady Vesna was very kind and welcoming - she met us on arrival and showed us around, gave us her phone number in case we needed it. In the middle of our stay she surprised us with some eggs from a local farm, which were delicious! There is a supermarket just in front of the apartment which was very convenient, and there is a bus stop just across the road where the free bus to and from Bled stops 4-5 times a day. You can also walk to lake Bled, the nearest point is about 30 min. walk through a nice village. The location is very calm and relaxing, and although a bit away from the lake (about 3 km), we felt this was a better place to stay than the rather crowded and busy lake. Pokljuka Ski Centre is at a distance of 10 km from the Ročnjek, and Vogel Ski Area is 20 km away. Lake Bohinj is 15 km away, while Lake Bled is within 30 km from the property. We spent a wonderful stay at this accommodation in nature and were very satisfied. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing and escaping everyday stress. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the evening in sauna and morning coffee with a view of nature. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely love to come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and a connection with nature.
