Surrounded by the Slovak Paradise and set in the village of Dedinky, Penzión Pastierňa offers en suite accommodation, a restaurant, a bar and a terrace. Me and my husband absolutely loved this place. It felt like a home or cabin with the best restaurant in the area. Location couldn't be better, close to water reservoir and hiking trail. The owner was so kind and informative about the area, hikes and so on. Bed was so comfy especially after several hours of incredible hike and my husband even took cold plunge in lake. Food was amazing, traditional Slovak food, made with love, so so tasty. This will be our regular place to stay when we come hike through southern Slovak Paradise National Park.

Relax Mariánka is set in a quiet location of Betlanovce, just a 15-minute walk from the Slovak Paradise National Park, and features en-suite rooms, free WiFi and a terrace. The location is great, very close to Slovensky Raj-Podlesok. The rooms were big enough, the kitchen was well-equipped, there were some board games, table tennis and table football to entertain the kids.

In the centre of Spišská Nová Ves, Apartmany Rudolf is 3 km from Rittenberg Ski Area, and offers stylish rooms and apartments with free WiFi and private parking. This is my second stay at the facility. The first time I was here alone, this time with my mum and brother. I have no complaints about the facilities. The room is absolutely beautiful and you're even provided with a fridge and a kettle and even tea and coffee. The owner there is a delightful person to talk to, she even gave us Apartmány Rudolf themed dark chocolate. The room and the bathroom were clean and the TV had Netflix which is always a plus 😁. These facilities are situated in the historical city square. The entrance is a bit easy to miss though. For those who are staying here, the entrance is right next to the DM store. It's a shame I forgot to take pictures.

It was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and there is also a free ample parking available for hotel guests. The hotel is located just a few steps away from the city center.
