The receptionist was amazing, exceptionally professional, and helpful. If I were the owner of the hotel, I would reward her generously because such excellent staff in hospitality is rare. The breakfast was delicious, with a decent selection, and the dinners served at the Kamzík restaurant were absolutely great. I also have to praise the restaurant staff for being very kind and attentive.

One of the best Penzion we’ve ever stayed in. Modern, clean, spacious rooms. Lenka is a super friendly and helpful host. Nice porch. Enough parking. Access to well equipped community kitchen and free Coffee, tea, cake all day long. Good breakfast. Bonus: a sauna upon request. Surrounded by the High Tatras National Park and set in Tatranská Lomnica Ski Area, Penzión Jesenský offers accommodation with a garden, a terrace, a bike rental and a games room with billiards. Very nice traditional and well maintained old building. Peaceful location close to the railway station. Friendly and helpful staff.

Located in Štrbské Pleso and surrounded by the High Tatras National Park, Apartmany Panorama 10X-90X offers accommodation in private apartment sets in the Panorama Resort complex. Lovely view of mountains. The apartment was a bit old but had everything we needed. The breakfast was downstairs at the hotel and we had an evening meal included in the price which was lovely too. It was close to everything.

4-star APLEND Wellness Hotel Borovica is set in the heart of the High Tatras in Štrbské Pleso, the highest village of the Tatra Mountains. The hotel is clean and smells nice. The staff is polite and kind. The gentleman with the magnificent mustache was extra helpful with our food intolerance, so thank you again!

Set at 1500 metres above the sea level and on the trail of Tatranska Magistrala in the Mengusovska Valley in the High Tatras, this hotel is a 60-minute hike from Strbske Pleso. Location is excellent, because many long hiking routes start from Popradske pleso, and if you don't want to walk in the morning extra 4km from parking to the start - staying in this hotel is perfect option. We had double room with a lake view and big private bathroom. They serve breakfast from 6:00 and breakfast is very rich, they serve even prosecco! In the evening restaurant and bar are open until 21 and 22, you can seat in common rooms, everything is very cosy! If you want to start your hike earlier, you can ask "grab and go" breakfast.
