Beautifully kept, the decor is superb while the staff went above and beyond to accommodate every need we had. The common areas were kept spotless and our room was clean, comfortable, while every detail was accounted for.

Located in Lake Placid, The Whiteface Lodge is 2.4 km from Lake Placid and is 2.2 km from Mirror Lake. The resort offers guests on-site bowling, billiards, hot tubs and swimming in ether the outdoor or indoor pool. My wife and I went to the Whiteface Lodge for our mini-moon, right after our wedding in November. Our stay was incredible - the room size was massive, and the bed and living area were very comfortable and well appointed. The guest facilities were amazing (including a small gym and game room, hot-tub and indoor pool), and the food at the restaurants was delicious. We really enjoyed the included breakfast every morning, and the complimentary cookies! We went during the off season so it was extremely quiet and peaceful during our trip, which we really appreciated and needed. Will be going back again!

Great house for our family, we enjoyed making a fire and sitting around the fireplace. Two living rooms and large dining room table for our supper!

Everything was great, but the sheets were a bit slippery, I couldn't keep the blanket on the bed.;-) The booking, and follow up instructions were perfect. And I appreciated the coffee packets, as I didn't read the 'bring your own' until I had arrived. ;-). Thanks for a great stay, super close to Belleayre Mtn.
