The Embers Hotel ligger i Blowing Rock, 25 km fra Sugar Mountain, og har en terrasse, en restaurant og en bar samt gratis privat parkering. We loved the balconies with swivel Adirondack chairs and the lovely restaurant and bar area. The coffee in the room was very nice. We enjoyed breakfast two mornings in the Embers restaurant and both the service and food were comforting and comfortable. The location made it so easy to walk to restaurants on and off Main Street. We'll be back.

The Wanderer Guesthouse ligger 31 km fra Sugar Mountain og tilbyder aircondition og indkvartering med balkon. We spend two nights at The Wanderer Guesthouse and our experience was great. The communication with the host was perfect even before our arrival we were given all the info we needed. On arrival the check-in is very straightforward just by following the provided instructions. Our room was relatively small but very nicely furnished and sparkling clean. The en suite toilet was definitely a great add-on ! The shared spaces were also very well kept with a fully equipped kitchen. The area around the house is very quiet which makes it for a wonderful night sleep. This is definitely a place I would recommend if you are travelling in the area.

Graystone Lodge is located in South Boone. It features an indoor heated pool, fitness center, and complimentary hot breakfast. very clean, relatively new, nice rooms and bathrooms, the pool was a great fun addition for the kids. the staff was super kind and breakfast was good
