Spa Hotels in Thalgau

This is a really good hotel, excellent in every way but I will especially mention the facilities for those travelling by bicycle - it has a dedicated, locked storage room for bikes with power sockets for charging e-bikes.

Every thing (but the gluten free food) The location, the atmosphere, the room, the dyson, the staff , were absolutely wonderful

Everything was perfect Staff: We were greeted by very friendly staff who was fluent in English. She went the extra mile by cooridinating with the Mondsee tourist information centre to get our Salzkammergut card. She helped us check-in even though we were a few hours early. Because we were early, she wasn't able to show us the hotel and its facilities, but they do offer that when you arrive, a great personal touch not many hotels do. We actually returned to the hotel much later in the evening and we didn't want to bother the staff, who we think was a waiter from the restaurant. The staff that waited during breakfast were fantastic as well. Room/Facilities: With only 8 rooms (5 in the "floor" we're on), it felt very exclusive. Everything still feels very new. The only noise you'll hear from your room is the water on the lake. The room was massive and the bed is similar (if not actually) to a king size bed. The pool and sauna was very nice after a long day of sight seeing. You are able to get into the lake from the sauna facility (you will have to navigate through some stairs). They also have nuts, candy and flavoured water in the hall for you to take throughout the day, great little detail. The breakfast was...wow...the spread was insane. Cold cuts, salmon, all sorts of bread, cake, pastry, yogurt and cereal that you can customize yourself, eggs/bacon/ham/omelette freshly made at your request. Cannot stress how amazing the breakfast was... Ambiance/Vibe: The view of the lake as you enter the hotel was stunning, especially when it's sunny. There is a very chilled and relaxed vibe with this hotel and their restaurant. It didnt feel like it's just a place for you to crash after a long day of sight-seeing. The other thing we very much enjoyed was the fact that most patrons of the hotel and restaurant were german speaking. We felt out of place, in a good way.

Loved staff, location, breakfast and rooms looked quite new. Shower was great and bed comfy and pillows very small but they did have a larger one as well. Staff all super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and eggs cooked while you waited. The view from this hotel was stunning. The restaurant has inside and outside area and it was lovely. Nothing I didn’t disliked. Parking for free onsite an added bonus if you have a car.

Amazing property on absolutelly breathtaking place directly on lake side. I can only be jelaous that I did not take lake view room! Everything there was really great pool, saunas, dinner was heroic and breakfast absolutelly enough!

An amazing homestay with caring and welcoming hosts. We got an amazing appartment with a fully equipped kitchen, seating in the garden full of roses and a comfortable bed. Everything was clean and tidy. The location must be great for cycling. The closest lake (Hintersee) is approx. 5 km from the appartment. Othwerwise Faistenau has a bigger supermarket, bakery and a few restaurants.

The owner and staff is so kind and helpful. I value a long walk in natur for my dog and a little spa relax and good food for me, they have it all without i need to take me car.

High quality, perfect hotel! Everything is super thought out, super clean. Food is delicious, breakfast - super healthy super tasty. Even bath cosmetics in the room is organic🥹 Staff is super kind and professional.

Very friendly and accomodating staff. Everything prepared with love and care. The hotel is close to Salzburg and a number of beautiful hiking locations. The accomodations for children were very welcome.

Great location next to the bicycle trails. Very friendly staff. Pool and sauna, private beach with usage of SUP and boat for free. Good wine selection.
