The whole experience was great. The hotel has a nice, cosy atmosphere all around, the food was good, varying every day and the staff were really helpful. The location is excellent, especially for beginners as one of the skiing schools is just across the street. We were there during a lower peak period so it was not crowded at all which was great. Definitely considering staying here again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay – it’s an ideal vacation spot for families with children. The hotel offers plenty of fun for kids: both indoor and outdoor pools, animals, a playroom, playground, and organized activities. The food was excellent, with the option of dinner as well. Don’t expect luxury, but if you’re looking for an idyllic countryside getaway in the middle of stunning mountains and fresh air, this is the perfect place. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The room was spacious with a choice of places to sit. Very modern and contemporary in design. The staff were friendly. Dinner was very good indeed with a nice salad buffet and a choice of cheeses to finish. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice. A convenient location for the ski slopes and only about 5 minutes off the motorway.

This accomodation is the most beautiful accomodation I have ever stayed at. The lodge is beautiful with high quality materials right through. From the moment we walked in we felt at home and felt we stayed somewhere tranquil and very special. The sauna and pool area are of top quality and sparky clean. It was just what we all needed after a day of skiing. The breakfasts each morning were beautiful full of all healthy and fresh foods. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our barman/waiter Yarrow was an absolute gentleman and delight. He remembered all our names and was always ready to serve us the best drinks in a warm and friendly manner. Such a great person. Anna was also helpful and friendly. She also made the best goulash we had ever eaten. We’ll definitely be back one day. Thank you to all the amazing staff for making our holiday to Wagrain so special.
