I booked this for my daughter and her partner. She also stayed at the Waldorf Versaille which actually had fireworks that she could see from her room overlooking the palace. The hotel is really cosy and nicely decorated. The staff is lovely. The dining/breakfast room is absolutely lovely, same with the food.
