I usually don’t write reviews for hotels, but this experience truly deserves recognition. Yannick went above and beyond in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, he was exceptionally warm, kind, and friendly—so much so that it felt like he already knew us. His hospitality made us feel instantly at home. What stood out most was his patience and attentiveness. I had many questions throughout our stay, and he always responded with a smile and clear, thoughtful explanations. His professionalism and kindness made a real difference. I also want to mention how welcoming the owner was. I had previously stayed here last year without my mother, and the staff were already very friendly and accommodating. However, during this recent visit—with my mother, who wears a hijab—I was genuinely touched to find that they were even more welcoming and respectful. I had some initial concerns that we might feel out of place, but instead, we were treated with the utmost kindness and warmth. It was a beautiful and reassuring experience that made us feel truly seen and respected. I’m very grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a welcoming and thoughtful environment.

The apartment was clean and tidy, the check in process was easy as well as the check out. Family Wicki were very helpful during our stay and kept us informed about everything. Special thanks to Della for her excellent support. The view is just spectacular, you just can’t get enough of it. The apartment is about 20-30 minutes away from Thun and Interlaken.

A luxurious hotel located near the center of the town of Spiez and overlooking Lake Thun and Spiez Castle. For car owners, the hotel has a large underground parking lot at a very reasonable cost of 12 francs for 24 hours, but you have to reserve the parking lot in advance. The hotel staff is very friendly and helped us a lot in planning our trip around the Thun and Brienz lakes. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and well equipped. The toilet and shower are separated, so two people can use them at the same time, which saves a lot of time. The breakfast is excellent and rich. The hotel has a heated pool and spa.

This is a fabulous, very spacious apartment with modern decor and a beautifully outfitted kitchen. The host was kind and helpful. We loved all the extras Phil provided: coffee pods, cream, fruit, oatmeal, muesli, sodas, even wine and chocolates. We enjoyed using this kitchen for our breakfasts and dinners. We even made fondue here, with the quality fondue pot. Very comfortable large bed and good shower and bathtub.There is a great view. Apartment is in quiet Oberhofen close to bus and ferry stops. Also walkable to Thun. There are some nice waterfront cafes along the lakeshore. This is a wonderful apartment!

the room was.absolutely neat, clean, and the bed was very comfy. we had a very warm welcome from the staff. the hotel itself was a very short walk from the Spiez train station. Should have ordered a view room! even the look from the side window was very nice.
