Josh at Trip Monkey was such a legend. He made booking the activities so easy. The hostel had lots of chill areas. The dinners they put on were great. We had such a delicious veggie burger. Highly recommend. Although the hostel is a 1km to town, that’s fine, because all the activity companies will pick you up from the hostel, and charge no extra.

The facilities are really nice, the food was also good. But it's important to highlight how friendly and attentive the staff was. Thanks Mauricio, Jossie Gilma and the rest of the back of the house staff. They make the place even more special than it is.

Breakfast was artfully presented, very tasty and bountiful. The villa was stocked with coffee, soft drinks, wine, beer, snacks, etc. and the hosts went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The owner, who was a few hours away, communicated prior to our arrival with links to Waze directions, suggestions for places to have lunch on our journey and places of interest to see. They were always available, yet respected our privacy, always smiling and helpful. We did not speak their language well but they always had a translator at hand to make certain communication wasn’t a problem. We arrived after dark and were unsure of exactly where to go,, but a quick text message had staff there to guide us.

We loved having the pool in the heat and the staff there were so lovely and helpful, nothing was too much. They have a cute cat and dog there which we loved. The place has a jacuzzi as well as a pool along with a sauna (we didn’t use this) and an on site restaurant. The prices were reasonable. overall a nice, relaxing place to stay with lovely people.
