Amazing place! Probably one of the best hostels in Colombia for me. Staff is incredible, always helpful and up to talk with you. They take all the time you need to explain you all the super activities you can do around San Gil and organize everything for you. Nothing is missing in the hostel and the good atmosphere is always there! I strongly advise you to go and discover the Trip Monkey hostel for your trip in San Gil, you really won’t be disappointed with your stay!

Location is so beautiful. The hotel was tranquil and the staff very attentive and accommodating with nothing too much trouble. Rooms very clean and spacious. My partner and I were very impressed overall and plan to return at a later date, maybe more than once.

The location is amazing. Fantastic view over San Gil. Spacious balcony with a big sunbed to fit 2 or even 4 people. The family is very nice and helpful. We laughed a lot with them. The temperature of the jacuzzi is perfect and it even has a waterfall. To top it off: the condominium has an enormous outside pool on the top of the mountain with amazing views. Free to use. Not even advertised, but it is incredible 😃😃 The condominium has a gate with security, so safety is a 10

Lovely family run hostel/guesthouse for a brilliant price. The staff were so friendly and eager to help, despite the language barrier. It's in a great location in San Gil, just a straight walk to the main plaza. The entirety of where we explored in San Gil felt safe, even in the evenings Everything was spotless, the bathrooms were cleaned regularly. The pool was a great addition to cool off in. The bed was comfortable if slightly creaky. Good strong fan in the room. The hostel has an abundance of friendly animals to meet as well, including 3 dogs who were always so excited to see us return, a cat, 2 tortoises and goats. We would have loved to have stayed longer at the Green Door in San Gil, but unfortunately had already booked our next stop. San Gil itself if a great laid back city in the mountains. There are a lot of adventure sports on offer, but also plenty of opportunities to slow down. Highly recommend visiting.

Beautiful place the loveliest staff and a nice distance out of town you get some peace. Beautiful rooms with great balcony’s and comfortable facilities. Pool and jacuzzi are great and they have a steam room!!

Exceptional service, spacious, comfortable rooms, an excellent inclusive breakfast and a large pool for swimming lengths. Great value. This is a delightful little hotel run by splendid people. Our hosts, David and his family were incredibly friendly and helpful and made our visit to San Gil memorable. They stored our luggage whilst we were away hiking, called taxis when needed and they make the best juice from the Mangos growing in their pretty garden. Located out of town but with access to San Gil in five minutes via bus, 2500cop or a taxi 10000cop. Highly recommended. It is next to the main route 45A to Bogota, so expect some traffic noise.
